Bhajans
Besides the above weekly activities, bhajans are also conducted at homes and temples at the invitation of the devotees. Bhajans are held for special purposes such as birthdays, in memory of a departed soul, special events (pournami) and other special religious days. Poojas
In addition, weekly poojas on Saturday known as “Vigraha Abhishega Aratharai” are held where bhajans and abhishegam are conducted. This is on Saturdays between 8.30 pm – 11.30 pm at temples throughout the country. In addition, at special request and on special days this pooja is conducted in homes (this can only be Fridays night or Sunday evenings).
On special occasions, such as the Jayanthis of Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Saradha Devi, Swami Vivekananda and Sri La Sri Paramhamsa Dhasar special poojas are conducted.
